Blue Mountains rocks formations
One of the Blue Mountains most unique rock formations and a must see for any tourist coming up to the Blue Mountains trip. Boars head rock gets its name from its unique appearance. As you may have guessed, it looks exactly the same as a boar. This boar or pig head is sitting perched high up on the cliff face and can be viewed from our very own Cahills lookout location. It silently stands on the lookout and views both the Jamison and Megalong valleys. Cahills lookout is a majestic lookout and takes in stunning views of the Blue Mountains Megalong valley area. Hear the wind running through the valley and smell the fresh eucalyptus mountain air that wafts past you.
